The DPPO Board of Directors held board meetings on April 27th and May 11th, 2008. Minutes will be posted here, but are also available from the Secretary, Zoe Robinson Berry. Of note,
- Picnic tables that are beyond repair are not going to be replaced. Residents wishing to lend a hand and fix up those that are still useable are welcome! The Board will replace picnic tables with permanent benches similar to those already in place, at a rate of one per year.
- A property maintenance provider has been selected and will provide maintenance in the form of grass cutting & trimming and debris (branches, trash) clean up on a regular, as-needed basis for the common rights-of-ways and Parks.
- The Annual General meeting will be on Saturday, July 12th in the Park at 10:00am (rain date is Sunday, July 13th, 10am)
- The DPPO will participate in two fundraising activities:
- the Maps of Duclos Point & Georgina Island – $10 ($5 to DPPO)
- the Ladies of the Lake 2009 Calendar – $15+GST ($7.50 to DPPO)
- Both will be available at the General Meeting, Field Day and via Pat Bell (437-1476) or Rachel Tuller (437-7899). - Annual Dues for 2008 were voted on at last year’s General meeting and remain at $110 (no change from previous years). “Payable to DPPO, Inc.” and due at the General meeting.
